Description

Please note that this disc is a modern repressing or reproduction.  A clean copy of an original disc has been used as a "father" or "master matrix" to make new tooling to create this modern version.  Over the next several months I will be listing SEVERAL HUNDRED additional reproductions of the some of the most iconic, desirable and fun recordings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This listing is for the single-sided disc pictured, Edison 14047 "Bessie Couldn't Help It" Jack Dalton and the 7 Blue Babies.  This disc was derived from an original in E+ condition and you probably will never see one in nicer condition.  The sleeve in the pic is included (also a reproduction).  This is a wonderful and fun song and is the perfect disc to leave on the turntable of phonograph (just look at that label!).  This disc is made of a strong and durable material which will play just like vintage shellac discs and can be played on vintage equipment with steel needles, if desired.

Shipping via media mail with tracking is $5 within the continental USA.  I will gladly combine shipping!  International shipping is at cost, while USPS is the least expensive method it does not include tracking nor insurance.  If an international buyer chooses USPS shipping then they assume all responsibility.  Please see the USPS website to calculate cost, international shipping generally starts at $30.  UPS or Fedex are also shipped at cost and generally start at $100.

Hate mail from those who think my reproductions will "ruin the 78 market" will now be ignored and the senders blocked and reported to Ebay.  Thank you, Don Wilson-
