You are bidding on Edison Blue Amberol Cylinder Record # 2482 Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, performed by the Edison Mixed Quartet. This item comes in it's sleeve but does not have its cap.
Please judge condition by pictures. I do not know if this record plays or not. There do not seem to be any major breaks or cracks in the plaster on the inside, or any large places where plaster is missing. There are no scratches that I can see. There is a large, what appears to be, dirty spot on the wax (can be seen in last picture). This may be able to be cleaned, I don't know anything about these records, much less how to clean them, so I did not attempt to clean anything. The sleeve has dirty places and a few very minor rips near the top, but all in all I would say its in good condition. The cylinder itself presents itself in good condition, and the dirty spot is the only thing that I can see that makes it look less than exemplary. But as I said, please judge condition by pictures, and if you have any questions about the condition of the item or anything, please don't hesitate to ask. I want you to be sure before you purchase!

A bidder asked me to inspect the "dirty spot" more closely. I was able to wipe it gently with water and a soft towel and it came right off. The record material does not appear to my eye to be damaged, but as I said, I don't know much about these records. I have never tried to play this records, so I am making no guarantees to the playback quality.
