Nice disc. Grooves play E+. I have no idea what the managers of Edison's entertainment record department were thinking (smoking) in giving this disc the Red Star (which meant that an Edison dealer had to pre-order the disc, and could not return the disc to Edison for account credit.......Edison's goons deemed the performances to be sub-standard.......that they would be "duds"....and didn't want them back). Really hot 20's sides, sold in very small numbers. I grade this enthusiastically "E" using the VJM Record Grading system. I audition all records on a modern turntable with a lightweight sapphire stylus. RECORDS WILL BE PACKED PROPERLY between several sheets of cardboard, surrounded by packing peanuts, in a sturdy box.
