Description

In 2016 I developed new processes to make disc records.  Production technologies and physical properties of the early materials were examined and recreated using modern materials.  Diamond Disc recreations will last for several hundred plays and work with Standard, Dance and Edisonic reproducers.   


This auction is for a single-sided reproduction copy of Diamond Disc 51775 “Deep Henderson” by Charley Skeete’s Orc.  This is a truly rare disc and is especially hard to find in this nice of condition. The groove runs almost to the label, also making it one of the longer discs. The original disc it was copied from is in mint condition and was loaned from the UCSB Library, as is seen around the label.


The front of the disc will be exactly as shown and is identical to the original, the back is unfinished and may show tooling marks as all Diamond Disc reproductions are milled to 1/4" thick +/- 0.015".  The backs are engraved with the year and my name.


Shipping via media mail with tracking is included for the continental USA.  International shipping is at cost, while USPS is the least expensive method it does not include tracking nor insurance.  If an international buyer chooses USPS shipping then they assume all responsibility.  Please see the USPS website to calculate cost.  UPS or Fedex are also shipped at cost and generally start at $100.
