Description

Up for auction is an electrically recorded Edison diamond disc record released late in 1929 just before the Edison company closed its doors for good. Both sides feature hot fox trots by the Piccadilly Players. The side R song is "You Ought To See My New Baby" (take B) and the L side song is "Ev'ry Day Away From You" (take B). I would visually grade both sides at "E--". The L side has a couple of scratches that produce occasional light ticking, but both sides play loud and clear with only moderate surface noise that does not diminish the enjoyability of this record. Both sides also have one edge chip, neither of which comes anywhere near the grooves. Both labels exhibit wear.
