Description
Up for auction is Edison diamond disc phonograph record number 51907. Songs include "The Little White House (At The End Of Honeymoon Lane)" (take B) and "She's Still My Baby" (take C). Both sides feature great ragtime piano solos by Oreste Migliaccio. Oreste and his Queensland Orchestra recorded more than thirty sides for Edison, but only two of those featured Oreste playing solo piano. The record is in excellent, lightly used condition with very minor wear to both labels. There is a very minor production flaw at the edge of side L, nowhere near the grooves. I play tested it on my Edison B250, and I would rate the record surface 'E'. For those unfamiliar with Edison diamond disc records, they should be played only on an Edison diamond disc phonograph, not on a Victrola or other steel-needle player.
