Description
Collectors, here is Edison Diamond Disc record #52557, circa late 1928. The popular Walter Scanlan (Walter van Brunt) sings two songs, with orchestra: "Old Fashioned Lady" and "Lady Divine. Two lovely sentimental songs with fine singing, excellent listens. As far as I can tell, neither song was issued as a Blue Amberol cylinder. The record plays well with fairly limited surface noise. There are no edge chips, I taped "Lady Divine" label back onto the record. The last Diamond Disc issued was #52651, so this is a few months from the end of Edison land, very scarce, go for it!
