- Edison Machado dos Santos, or simply Edison Machado (Rio de Janeiro, January 31, 1934 - Rio de Janeiro, September 15, 1990) was a Brazilian musician.
It is considered, next to the drummer Milton Banana, one of the greatest exponents of Brazilian music when it comes to battery. Creator of concepts herein is responsible for creating the ride cymbal in samba rhythm in the 1950s
