Description

Edison "Needle Type Electric" Lateral Cut Disc from 1929 (Thomas A. Edison , Inc. Orange N.J.) These lateral cut discs were issued shortly before Edison folded the phonograph business for good in 1929. This is No. 14059 "Wouldn't It Be Wonderful ?" and "Polly Primrose" B. A. Rolfe and his Lucky Strike Dance Orchestra. This copy has a number of light scratches and is, therefore, somewhat noisy. However, it plays through well with the excellent sound that these late Edison, electrically recorded, discs had.
