Édith Piaf (US /pi????f/ or UK /?pi?æf/; French: [edit pjaf]; 19 December 1915 – 10 October 1963; real name Édith Lamboukas, previously Pills, née Gassion), was a French singer who became widely regarded as France's national diva, as well as being one of France's greatest international stars.[1] Her singing reflected her life, with her specialty being of Chanson and ballads, particularly of love, loss and sorrow. Among her songs are "La Vie en rose" (1946), "Non, je ne regrette rien" (1960), "Hymne à l'amour" (1949), "Milord" (1959), "La Foule" (1957), "l'Accordéoniste" (1955), and "Padam ... Padam ..." (1951).

NM NEAR MINT
E1 Plays like new. Very few signs of handling apart from perhaps some slight scuff marks. An excellent copy.
E2 As E1, but with some slight scratches as well as scuff marks. None of which affect playback. Still an excellent copy.
E3 As E2, but with perhaps,some very slight groove wear, none of which seriously effect playback. Still a good copy.
V1 As E3 but with some increase in surface noise and, acceptable, groove wear. Still a playable copy.
V2 As V1 but with some moderate groove wear and increased surface noise . Mostly sounds OK though.

All records are normally dispatched within 48 hours and securely packed with cardboard stiffeners then placed in a box lined with 1” polystyrene lining. Shipping costs are as follows:-
UK & N. IRELAND - Post & packing charge 1 x record (be it 7“, 10“ or 12“ disc) £3.95. Usually dispatched 2nd Class post for economy. Please allow up to 3 to 4 working days for delivery..
EUROPE - Post & packing charge 1 x record (7”, 10” or 12” disc) £7.90 - despatched by air mail. Please allow up to 4/6 working days for delivery.
REST OF THE WORLD - Post and packing charge 1 x record £12.90 (7“, 10“ or 12“ disc). Despatched by air mail or courier. Allow up to 5/7 working days for delivery.
You can order as many records as you like, there is no minimum order value.
Post and packing discounts are also given when you order more than 1 record. THE FOLLOWING RATES CURRENTLY APPLY:-

In the unlikely event that the record is damaged during delivery please notify me by email immediately (or within 5 working days of receipt). DO NOT RETURN ANY DAMAGED RECORD WITHOUT MY AGREEMENT. Please take a photo (or two) of the damage and send them to me, by email or in the post to R J Chambers 44c Wood End Green Road, Hayes, Middlesex UB3 2SH. or by email to nostalgia.bob233@btinternet.com. I will then be able to guide you through the claims procedure with the carrier.
