Description

The four sides are Profoundly Blue No. 2, Jamming in Four, Edmond Hall Blues, and Celestial Express. Remaining two sides are "Blue Interval" and "Seeing Red," featuring Red Norvo, Teddy Wilson, Carl Kress, and John Williams. Issued on Blue Note 10" LP BLP-5026. The "ear" is engraved in the trail-off. Deep groove, with "Blue Note Records 767 Lexington Ave NYC" just inside the deep groove. 33 1/3 Microgroove Long Playing outside the groove. Condition is a strong VG with some surface noise from the pressing. Jacket is VG+. No split seams, slightly worn corners, no ring wear or markings. Back of jacket is bright and clear, with no age spots.
Grading is based on Goldmine standards:
M = Mint (unplayed or factory sealed)
NM = Near Mint (one or two tiny, inconsequential flaws)
VG+ = Very Good Plus (handled and played infrequently or carefully; light scuffs, visual scratches that do not affect play)
VG = Very Good (visible signs of handling, light surface scratches, groove wear, spindle trails on label; audible surface noise - a well-played record by a responsible owner)
G = Good (good really means no good. Many scratches and annoying surface noise, heavy groove wear; basically a wall-hanger)
Intermediate grades of the above (VG-, G+, VG++) may also be used.
