Description

Effigies "Bodybag / Security" 7", original first US pressing on Ruthless Records, 1982. Comes with original double-sided insert. Sleeve has become unglued but nothing too upsetting. Vinyl has mild edge warp but plays fine. Dust sleeve is stamped on both sides with the Ruthless Records address.

Issued in a hand-glued picture sleeve with a double sided T-shirt offer insert:
* The second version adds a third T-shirt design (using a Nosferatu image) and advertises "Up and coming bands on Ruthless" - Trial By Fire and Naked Raygun - and is blank on the back. Some (all?) show the "Haunted Town" price crossed out as "Sold Out / not available", and add "Also coming: Big Black 'Lungs'".

Ruthless' original street address (319 S.Jefferson, Chicago, IL 60606) is printed on the back sleeve, but it appears that they were already using the P.O. Box 1458, Evanston, IL 60204 address by the release-date. All known inserts show the new address, and it may be updated with (a) a rubber-stamped generic white sticker on the back sleeve, (b) on the plain inner-sleeve - using the same rubber-stamp and no sticker on the back, or (c) a black-bordered printed address sticker on the back sleeve.

Lyrics to both songs are printed on the "Question" side label.
