Description

Please note that I am not a regular seller, therefore I'm not at all experienced at grading. But as a long-time buyer of vinyl, I can compare to what I think someone else might grade. I am very much trying to be as honest and up front as I can be about condition.

Up for auction here is a Canterbury classic, the 1970 self-titled debut long player from Egg. Dave Stewart, Mont Campbell, and Clive Brooks really kick out some raging organ craziness here.

This is the rare UK STEREO release on the Deram Nova Series, with orange labels. On the cover a track duration of 3:14 is listed for a hidden track on side two between Blane and Movement 4. It is not listed on the label.

The outer jacket is, to my best estimation, a very very solid VG+ to EX. The Clairifoil lamination has a few small flaws on the front (I tried to picture them as best as possible, with the worst section being in the lower left corner below the Deram logo). The back of the jacket looks great. Overall I''d say most sellers would grade it EX.

The LP itself is in great EX condition. There is a very slight surface scuff on side 1 that I tried to picture (though it is so light, it doesn't even show up in the picture). I haven't played this in years, but from what I remember there might have been some slight surface noise in quiet parts. But there are no scratches at all, this is a clean LP.

Labels are really clean, not beat up at all.

I'm trying to clear out a lot of vinyl in my collection, so I don't want to have to deal with returns, so NO returns on this item. I really want you to be happy with your purchase though, that's why I'm trying to be as honest as possible about condition. PLEASE message me with questions or I would be happy to take more pictures. Thanks.
