Description

You are bidding on a somewhat motley collection of Decca classical LPs, all under the "London" imprint that the company used in the U.S. until 2000:

  • ELGAR: Symphony 1 (LPO. Solti). CS 6789.
  • "GREAT RHAPSODIES FOR ORCHESTRA" by Ravel, Liszt, Enesco, Chabrier (LPO, Black). SPC 21030.
  • HÉROLD-LANCHBERY: La fille mal gardée (ROHCGO, Lanchbery). CS 6252.
  • KHACHATURIAN: Spartacus Suite; Masquerade Suite (LSO, Black). SPC 21184.
  • MAHLER: Symphony 2 "Resurrection" (Buchanan, Zakai; CSO & Ch, Solti). LDR-72006 (2 LPs).
  • ROSSINI: Overtures (7) (National Phil, Chailly). LDR-71034.
  • ROSSINI-RESPIGHI: La boutique fantasque; Suite Rossiniana (RPO, Dorati). SPC 21172.
The "SPC" numbers are all from the "Phase Four" stereo concert series, with the specially mixed sound image. The two "LDR"s are "London Digital Recordings."
Discs and sleeves are in varied conditions. Some have been played relatively little, others more so; some sleeves have suffered less wear, others more so (seams and corners).  Contact me with questions about any specific item.
U.S. shipping will be via USPS Media Mail. Temporarily, I'm not offering shipping outside the U.S., because of the ongoing pandemic, which is delaying mail to and from certain countries.
