Mint(M) - Absolutely perfect in every way - certainly never played, possibly even sealed.

Near Mint(NM) - A nearly perfect record. Record shows no obvious signs of wear.

Very Good Plus(VG+) - Record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. May have slight signs of wear and slight scuffs and scratches.Very Good(VG) - A disc similar to VG+ where the defects are more pronounced. Surface noise will be evident, but will not overpower the music.

Good(G) - A record that will play through without skipping, but has significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear.

Fair(F) - Grade between poor and good, obviously. Very heavy damage, though the record should still play.

Poor(P) - A record with heavy damage, probably will skip, and is the worst grade
