Die ersten drei Studioalben von elbow werden auf Vinyl wiederveröffentlicht. Die Vinyl-Pressungen umfassen das Debütalbum ”Asleep in the Back”, das Nachfolgealbum ”Cast of Thousands” und das dritte Album ”Leaders of the Free World”. Darüber hinaus werden die B-Seiten-Kollektion, ”Dead in the Boot” und ”The Take Off and Landing of Everything” (2014), neu aufgelegt. Damit ist der gesamte elbow38 Angaben ohne Gewähr - Sound Aktuell 07.09.2020 Album-Katalog nun auf Vinyl erhältlich. „Asleep in the Back” war das Debütalbum von elbow (2001). Es wurde von Ben Hillier (Blur, Doves, Depeche Mode) produziert und enthielt die Singles ”Newborn”, ”Any Day Now”, ”Red” und ”Powder Blue”. Es etablierte die Band beim britischen Publikum und führte zu Nominierungen für den Mercury Award und den Brit Award. „Cast of Thousands”, wurde in den legendären Parr Street Studios in Liverpool wieder mit Ben Hiller aufgenommen. „Leaders of the Free World” war das erste Album, das in den Blueprint Studios, Manchester, aufgenommen wurde. Es wurde von der Band und Tom Rothrock (Beck, Foo Fighters) koproduziert. Das Album enthält mehrere Tracks, die bis heute die elbow-Sets zieren, darunter ”Great Expectations” und ”Station Approach”. „The Take Off And Landing…” erschien 2014 und war das erste #1 Album der Band in England. ”Asleep in the Back” und ”The Take Off and Landing…” werden als Deluxe 2LP erscheinen. ”Cast of Thousands”, ”Leaders of the Free World” und ”Dead in the Boot” erscheinen jeweils als Deluxe 1LP.
