Description
From the historic 1927 OKeh New York sessions, Frankie Trumbauer
& His Orchestra plays "There's A Cradle In Caroline" and "Blue River"
on 78rpm Electric OKeh 40879.
Bix, of course, is on cornet, with Seger Ellis doing the vocal refrain on
both sides.
Both sides were recorded on August 25, 1927.
The record is in E- on the A side, and E- to V+ on the B side. There is
an A side edge flake, well away from the grooves. A light scratch on
the A side label.
