Description
Tom (Tommy) Dorsey switches from his usual velvety trombone to do
two trumpet solos entitled "Tiger Rag" and "It's Right Here For You"
on 78rpm Electric OKeh 41178.
He has some super accompaniment with guitarist Eddie Lang, Jimmy
Williams on bass, with Stan King on drums. Arthur Schutt sits in on
harmonium on the B side.
Lang is superb!
Recorded in New York City on November 10, 1928 the record is in
excellent (E) condition on the first side, and excellent to
excellent-plus (E to E+) condition on the reverse. Of course, it plays
great!
