Description

With Venuti and Lang both sitting in, Frankie Trumbauer & His

Orchestra play a great rendition of "Get Happy" on 78rpm Electric

OKeh 41431. Some nice solos. Discographies show that Trumbauer

plays solos on the cornet and clarinet, as well as his sax.


On the other side they do "Deep Harlem." Trumbauer sings the vocal

refrain on both sides.


Recorded in New York City on May 10, 1930, the record is in lovely

excellent-plus (E+) condition, and of course plays like a dream as you

would expect!
