Description
On a 78rpm original red label Electric OKeh 8503, Louis Armstrong &
His Hot Seven do "Potato Head Blues" and "Put 'Em Down Blues."
There is writing and scratches on the A side label (Art Hodes), and I
wonder if this record was at one time in the piano Jazzman's personal
collection (?)
Done in Chicago in 1927, this record is in E- to V+ condition, with
some light B side edge lams.
NOTE-I have been informed by one who would know, that the signature on the label is indeed that of piano great Art Hodes.
