Here's a good one! Clarence Williams' Washboard Band plays "Shout

Sister Shout" and "Where That Ol' Man River Flows" on 78rpm

Electric OKeh 8821.


Eva Taylor sings the vocal refrain on both sides.


Ed Allen is on cornet, Prince Robinson reeds, Floyd Casey

washboard, with Clarence on piano.


Both sides were done in New York City on July 20, 1930.


The record is in excellent to excellent-plus (E to E+) condition,

however there is a star crack under the label of the second side that

extends out very finely, around a quarter inch, with no affect on play.
