Description

Clarence Williams' Novelty Band plays "He Wouldn't Stop Doing It"

and "You're Bound To Look Like A Monkey When You Get Old" on

78rpm Electric OKeh 8798.


Clarence plays the jug and does the vocals, Cecil Scott is on clarinet,

Herman Chittison piano, with Ikey Robinson on banjo (and to my ears,

doubling on guitar).


Both sides were done in New York City on May 22, 1930.


The record is in excellent-minus (E-) condition with light surface

scratches. There is tape on the B side label.
