Description
Elis Regina was (she died at age 36 of an alcohol drug overdose) the first artist from Brazil to ever have a million selling record. She did the seemingly required of all Brazillian artists...samba, bossa nove etc BUT on this record she went searching for new material from unheard of composers. Some of them are very well known today because of her recording their work here. It is sung in Portuguese. The album is a Brazil press and is in glossy Mint- condition housed inside a VG sleeve (very minor ring wear). From 1977.
