Description
Get Happy from 1961 on the UK HMV label. Matrix 1N/1N. Tax code = "OT" =1961. Stampers 1O/1R. These early stampers infer that this copy is likely to have been pressed from the first 2,000 copies on HMV. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse printed cover.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is, on the whole, minimal. We did, however, detect static in 'Moonlight' - but htat was really all that was vaguely noticeable.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and clearly been carefully looked after. Nice shiny front with very little creasing and just some light laminate lift along the spine edge. The rear seems to have escaped much of the usual fading. there is one small one sticker present. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and the spine is 100% intact.
