Description

The Verve "reel o' gold" 2 track albums are well known to audiophile tape connoisseurs.  This is an excellent copy of Verve's ELLA AND LOUIS AGAIN Volume 2 from a broadcaster's personal collection.  VST 10012 is a 7 & 1/2 IPS two track, or "stacked head", recording.  The reproduction is powerful and true.  The Fitzgerald/Armstrong collaboration led to some of the greatest recording moments ever caught on tape  This album represents one the finest jazz and American Standards sessions ever recorded.  A generous length of mylar leader has been spliced on to each end.  Good luck and thank you.
