Ella Fitzgerald sings the Duke Ellington song book. This is the 4xLP 180g heavyweight audiophile VINYL box set, pressed by Speakers Corner in 2003. The original classic recordings are Verve in 1957. In 2003 this box set was released as a remastered audiophile set from Speakers Corner with classic Verve labelling. It is now quite difficult to find and expensive (certainly in this condition).
I am not a dealer and I am selling this item from my personal collection. I bought it new and have played the vinyl just once to confirm it is perfect (I have the CD version too).
The "song book" comes in two volumes; each comprising two 180g LP's together with a 15-page booklet all housed in a hard hinged cardboard pictured flip-box (like a pizza-box).

One occasionally sees these volumes for sale separately, but this is the complete set in its box with booklet.
As a collector myself I know condition is everything. So what follows is my honest opinion of condition;
The vinyls have been played once, to confirm they are perfect. This would equate to a condition ref Near Mint. The inner sleeves are near mint The Vols 1 & 2 gatefold picture sleeves are excellent. They have no scuffs or tears. There is a minute compression in the bottom RH corner of vol 2, otherwise all corners are crisp. The booklet is un-marked with crisp corners The housing box is in excellent condition. The rear (orange) finish has a very small mark (hardly visible; I could not photograph).
I will leave it to you to research the fantastic music on this set; if you do not know it already.
This is a set for the Ella fan and a must-have addition to an audiophile collection.
