For sale is a vinyl record by Ella Jenkins titled "You'll Soing A Song and I'll Sing A Song", originally released in 1966 by Folkways Records that includes a 7 page booklet of lyrics and instructions for the sing-alongs. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeves. Doing this preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Very Good Plus, because of corner blunts, shelf rubs and what appears to be globs of glue from a glue gun on the top left hand corner. The spine has a some damage to the corners from these blunts and in the middle is a 1/4 inch dent along with some edge rubs. The 7 page booklet is is Near Mint condition. The Vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of some superficial smudges, sleeve marks and hairline surface scratches that cannot be felt with a fingertip. I'm play grading this record as Very Good Plus because of occasional "tics" and "pops, along with some low level surface noise, none of which over-powers the music or the instructions from Ella. I'm play grading this record as Excellent because of occasional ticking and super low level surface noise. It plays all the way through without any skips or lock-ups from start to finish. This would be a wonderful learning guide for anyone with children or grandchildren or even teachers. This is the best copy of this vary rare album that I have ever seen, and you would be hard pressed to find another one in this condition, especially a first pressing.
