A fantastic LP of the legendary performance from The Duke and his orchestra at The Newport Jazz Festival. You can hear every moment of this historic show from the gentle appreciation from the audience who some started to leave after a few songs culminating in roars of delight as one female audience member made her way on stage and danced inspiring The Duke and his fellow musician to arguably their greatest ever performance. What a story and if you have time I would suggest exploring further into this incredible historic musical event. What a joy!
It's with a heavy heart that I find it time to move on my humble beloved Jazz / Big Band LP Collection. Being a fastidious vinyl collector all of my LP's have been professionally cleaned using an Okki Nokki vinyl cleaner with a goats hair brush and the prescribed cleaning solution.
