Elliot Smith “Angeles” 1996 Test Pressing, One Sided, + Unknown Song Unreleased?

Up for auction is probably the rarest Elliot Smith record that is exists. Quite possibly a one of a kind record or like most test pressings, limited to a literal handful of copies. To the best of my research, an Elliot Smith test pressing has never showed up on the open market. This is a mysterious record that is one sided. This is a authentic, one sided test press 45 from Rainbow Records in Canoga Park, Los Angeles area. The first track is “Angeles” the other track is unknown to me because I’m not familiar with the artists whole catalog. The matrix numbers in dead wax are: KRS 569 - A. R-2716. This indicates that it was to be a Kill Rock Stars Records release. To the best of my knowledge there was never a one sided Elliot Smith release on that label and this could be a release that never came out. When test pressings come from the plant they usually are exactly as the vinyl product would be, if this was to be a split record the other side would be pressed, not left blank. This is a bit of a mystery of what this was intended to be. I have no idea if these songs are different takes or mixes from any other releases, see my YouTube video. This record was discovered by the seller at an estate sale in Woodland Hills, California in a box of random, unrelated junk 45s. How it got there is unknown.

CONDITION: I am liberally grading this at VG condition. There are a couple big scuffs that are very noticeable, there are many surface scratches. Wax still has a shine. When playing there are audible pops and ticks. The record does not skip when played on my Techniques turntable. The record was properly cleaned three times and I play tested it several times, no skips. This record was not treated with care by whoever owned it before me.
