TITLES:  Buttermilk Blues / Smokey Blues

CONDITION:   V+

DESCRIPTION:  Harmonica solos with guitar recorded in Johnson City, Tennessee.  "Buttermilk" is more like street ragtime with harmonica lead, guitar and spoons percussion.  Hot guitar with lots of runs both sides instead of simple boom-chang.  Williams was the only race artist recorded in Johnson City on this October 1929 Columbia / Okeh field trip.
