Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera US Promo Lp Epic - MONO - VG+. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail Signed For® 2nd Class.

Very rare US promo of Elmer Gantrys Velvet Opera's eponymous album from 1968. This is an Epic release and features in mono format.

This album was only released elsewhere in stereo (including the UK, the non stereo labelled release is still stereo), and while I'm not entirely sure whether it is a unique mono mix, it certainly sounds like how a mono record should sound.

Its bright and punchy, particularly effective on tracks such as Mother Writes, Walter Sly Meets Bill Bailey and Flames.

The sleeve is graded as Good but still very sturdy as all US sleeves are. I have photographed the imperfections such as the ripped spine and chips in the sleeve.

More importantly the vinyl is VG+ with zero scratches and the littlest of surface noise on quieter moments.

All in all its a psych collecting gem
