Elmore James / John Brim 'Tough' 1968 UK 1st A1/B1 Blue Horizon Vinyl LP VG+/VG+ !!
This is a collectable and very nice record! This copy is a genuine UK A1/B1 pressing released on Blue Horizon in 1968 and featuring some great tracks! The vinyl is very clean indeed with no marks or scratches other than faint handling marks and a small number of wispy hairlines only just visible in good light. The vinyl itself is gleaming with very little to detract. There is some minor dishing from storage however this is minimal and not affecting play in any way. In most respects this record is excellent and plays with an excellent sound, clear and dynamic with very little noise of any sort - this is a superb listen! The sleeve is very good indeed with no damage or writing. The front has great gloss and the back is very clean, the edges are sharp and  this looks very close to EX. Overall this is graded a confident VG+ and sounds EX for the most part in play. Definitely in collectable order with only very minor issues to note.

 Please see the following grading guidelines which I use to grade all media:  Items will be described in the following order: Media/Cover (i.e. VG/G+)

 MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint 

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. 

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. 

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. 

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. 

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. 

CD's are similarly graded though the Jewel case is disregarded in grading. The grading applies to the media and the insert. Cassettes will simply be described in their playing condition and are all tested.
