Description
Original 45 Elroy Dietzel and the Rhythm Bandits Rock-n-Bones, Shang-hai-Rock. On the Bo-Kay record label Lamesa, TX. This is NOT a re-issue. Record was purchased by my Dad in the early 1960's at the Melody Record Shop on Race St. in Fort Worth, TX. According to my Mom, they would go buy stacks of records for 5 cents each that came off of jukeboxes. This is one of them, it does have the hole drilled in the label section that was either to mark that it was used, or it may have been for the jukebox pick up mechanism, not real sure. I am not a record collector so I do not know how to officially grade this record. Overall it is nice and shiny on both sides, there are a few faint use scratches and scuffs, but nothing deep. Record sits nice and flat, no warping. I do not currently have a record player to play it on, but the last time I played it a couple years ago it played all the way through on both sides, quite clearly and with no skips. Photos are scans of the record, but I can take more photos if needed. Non-smoking home.
