Description

PIANO SELECTION (German - Session SES 12000 ST) 1968, in stereo! strong VG+/VG++

SUPERRARE German LP featuring a much better, superior re-recorded version (from around 1964) of Baron Lazar from the legendary Elsie Bianchi Trio (from Zurich, Switzerland), that makes the other version from her ultrarare 1962 Atlantis 10" record almost sound like a demo in comparision!! So, I think this was her best recording. This absolutely fantastic and superrare track was NOT used for the Elsie Bianchi Trio LP " The Sweetest Sounds " on Saba rec. from 1965. The sticker on the top left of the frontcover states that this LP was distributed by BASF, with the special BASF distributors number of CRF 844. The backcoverphotos came from the MPS-archive. Session was a sublabel of MPS/SABA. The recordings contained on this LP date from 1964-1968. Fabulous photo-packed backcover with a BIG shot of the Elsie Bianchi Trio in the center!! This LP is a MUST HAVE for Elsie Bianchi Trio collectors!

Some small paper scuffs that can´t be heard. Plays VG++ with NO surface noise and NO clicks etc.
