Elton John – Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy (Zoetrope Picture Disc)
Brand New & Sealed | 100% Authentic | Limited to 1,500 Copies – SOLD OUT
This exclusive Blood Records Zoetrope picture disc edition of Elton John’s iconic 1975 album Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy celebrates one of the most important releases in his catalogue. Limited to 1,500 hand-numbered copies, this collectible features Alan Aldridge’s legendary illustrations brought to life in a spinning zoetrope design.
Originally released in 1975, this concept album tells the autobiographical story of Elton John (Captain Fantastic) and lyricist Bernie Taupin (the Brown Dirt Cowboy) during their formative years in London. Featuring the standout single “Someone Saved My Life Tonight”, the album made history as:
• The first album to ever debut at #1 on the US Billboard 200
• The first album certified Gold on release due to overwhelming pre-orders
• Selling 1.4 million copies in just four days, staying #1 for seven weeks
A must-have for collectors, Elton John fans, and vinyl lovers — especially as this exclusive edition is completely sold out from retailers.
