Up for sale is one(1) Elton John - Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy LP from 1975 with the gatefold cover on MCA Records (#MCA 2142). There is No Barcode. HAS ALL 4 OF THE ORIGINAL INSERTS. I am also including the original discarded shrink wrap, $5.00 price sticker and original receipt dated June 1(year not showing).
Comes complete with the original Poster, lyric booklet, scrap booklet and the fan club order form. The order form is almost always missing from this set. The inserts are in Excellent condition.
The cover is in very good +condition with some typical minor wear from age, including, but not limited to minor corner dings, white fade spots, a few crumples and ring wear. There are no split seams, punch holes, cut outs, clips, stamps, ink writing on it etc.
The Vinyl is in Very Good+ condition but has some minor surface marks that may cause some pops or clicks along the way and you may hear some surface noise.
The whole package is in overall great shape.
I purchased this LP new in the late 1970's at Rolling Stones Records in Chicago. It was played a few times back in the day. But has not been played in over 35 years. It has been in storage ever since. I am also including the original discarded shrink wrap, $5.00 price sticker and original receipt dated June 1(year not showing).
Nice clean labels with minor spindle marks.
