THIS IS A COMPLETE COPY - LP, COVER & INSERTS ARE ALL IN "GOOD+" SHAPE!
PRICED ACCORDINGLY! IF YOU ARE A STICKLER, THIS COPY IS NOT FOR YOU. There are visual surface marks that will cause surface noise and pops & clicks typical with a Good+ grading. There is definite crackling that is more noticeable during quiet part.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS "GOOD"! But you will hear crackling / surface noise typical with a good+ grading. Plays all the way through without skips, but you will hear surface noise.
Up for sale is one(1) Elton John - Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy LP from 1975 with the gatefold cover on MCA Records (#MCA 2142). There is No Barcode.
***HAS ALL OF THE 4 ORIGINAL INSERTS.***
Includes with the original Poster, lyric booklet, scraps booklet and 2 sided fan club order form. The fan club order form is almost always missing from this set. The inserts are in Good+ shape, with wear typical with age.
The poster has some discoloration / fading, seam splits on the ends.
The Fan Club letter has typical wear with age.
The Scraps book has typical wear with age.
The centerfold of the Lyrics book has come loose from the staples, causing just the middle page to be loose.
The vinyl is in Good+ condition, but has visual surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Good+ grading. Even with a Good+ grading there is a going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly, more noticeable during the quiet parts.
Nice fairly clean labels with minor spindle marks. Comes in a plain white inner sleeve
The gatefold cover is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, crumples, ring wear and fading along the seams. NO SPLIT SEAMS.
This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in decent shape.
I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was played many times back in the day. Not played in over 30+ years.
