Description

This auction is for Elton John's superb "Caribou" LP on the DJM Records label DJLPH.439. Matrix marks A-3/B-2, FIRST English Pressing. "RAYS" and "RETURN OF HERCULES" etched in dead wax.

THE THING THAT MAKES THIS COPY SO RARE IS THAT MOST FIRST PRESSINGS HAVE A RED TRANSLUCENT COLOUR WHEN HELD UP TO STRONG LIGHT - THIS COPY HAS DISTINCT GREEN/BLUE COLOUR - SEE PHOTO. 

Vinyl grading is a very Strong Ex according to the Record Collector Grading System. It appears only occasionally played prior to my test plays. A SUPERB copy. Cover grades VG and shows mild signs of wear. Inner sleeve is VG also
