This is an auction for one(1) Elton John - Greatest Hits LP from 1974 on MCA Records (#MCA-1689) that is STILL FACTORY SEALED IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP.  According to Discogs this a 1980 reissue. There is a bar code so it makes sense this is after 1980. 

The cover is in NEAR MINT condition with typical wear from age, included, but not limited to small dings and ring wear both of which are typical. There is a small tear in the shrink wrap where I removed the original price tag. There are no split seams, punch holes, cut outs, clips, stamps, writing on it etc.

Side note: Rolling Stones Records and Rock Records in Chicago(same owner) had horrible, very large price tags that were difficult to remove.

The vinyl is assumed to be mint as this is still sealed.  

I am the original owner. I purchased this new for my then girlfriend in the mid 1980's. I bought it at Rolling Stones Records in Chicago. She never opened it and I got it in the break up. It has been in storage ever since.
