Description
This is a copy of the LP Honky Chateau by Elton John, first pressing UK issue from 1972 on DJM Records DJLPH 423.
The etched matrices are DJLPH 423 - A Bobil and DJLPH 423 - B Rasputin
The vinyl is in Excellent condition with no scuffs, scratches or other blemishes that affect play. There are two very faint handling lines on Side Two but these are inaudible. The labels are clean with no writing, stickers, stains or scuffs. There is one very faint spindle line on each label. The vinyl is a red translucent colour when held up to the light.
The gatefold cover with embossed artist, title text and glued on sepia tone panel is in Near Mint condition. The cover is textured to simulate leather. There are no tears, stickers, stains, tape, shelf wear, ring wear, scuffs, creases, splits or writing. The cardboard feels crisp and fresh and both "spines" are perfectly readable.
The generic, poly-lined, white paper inner sleeve has a few handling creases and a little age -discolouration to the edges.
