Father Elton - Elton John - Madman Across the Water  - 1971/1995 - LPZ 2004 on DCC Compact ClassicsWarner Bros. USA pressing. This is an amazing record and an amazing Audiophile pressing of it. These are getting very hard to find now. The Elton John titles are some of the more scarce to find of the DCC catalogue. DCC Compact Classics was a renowned audiophile company that pressed a limited number of records before the company later went out of business. Guided by the famous Steve Hoffman. He later went on to creat Classic Records which also was renowned for excellent sound. These pressings are well respected as being some of the best sounding available for these records. All Vacuum Tube analog cutting system. This is a 180 gram original pressing. Limited Numbered edition, this is #3414. These are long since out of print. Sleeve is VG as it has a seam split on the spine as well as a seam split on the bottom. Record has been stored outside the sleeve since i received it. Otherwise sleeve is very nice and crisp. Vinyl is EX shape. Nice shiny black vinyl. No issues to speak of. Faint brush marks under bright light. Played perhaps once. Only on hi end gear. This is from my personal collection. Watch for many more rare 80's, 90's alternative, rock, indie, to current day finds in the upcoming weeks Led Zeppelin, Classic Records, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Daft Punk, Smashing Pumpkins, NIN, Oasis, U2, Killers, Audiophile DCC Compact, MFSL, Classic Records, etc.
