Description
This is a 1972 US Stereo Reissue of Elvin Jones - Dear John C. Issued on the Impulse ABC 4 pillar label, it bears the name of VAN GELDER in the deadwax who engineered the original 1965 recording. The matrix no is AS-88 A1B VAN GELDER - see photos.
The record has been Degritter cleaned and has come up very shiny with barely any marks apart from a couple of tiny scuffs. We have graded EX.
The sound quality is outstanding with incredible mid range and stereo separation. The vinyl behaves beautifully with no issues.
The gatefold sleeve is sturdy and clean with some ring and surface wear plus corner rubbing and a very small 2cm split just beginning to the bottom seam. No writing, stains or tape.
A great copy for a collector or simply to own, play and enjoy!
The record will be sent separated from the outer sleeve to avoid splits in an archival outer sleeve.
