Elvira Presents Vinyl Macabre 'Oldies But Ghoulies' NM Halloween horror Oldies IN SHRINK EX/NM See pictures SeePictures For Full Description. Allrecords are shipped in boxes specifically made for mailing records. MINT M Therecord is as new. The cover and any inserts should be in perfect condition. Many Dealers do not use this classification unless the record has not beenplayed or still sealed. Spindle marks on the label would indicate the recordhas been played. EXCELLENT PLUS EX+ The record is near-mint, there is no damage or visiblesurface marking. Under Bright Light you may see fine lines on the record,caused by rubbing on the paper sleeve. Reserve this grade for records where youhave difficulty spotting anything wrong. The Cover and inserts are undamaged. EXCELLENT EX Therecord may show some signs of having been played, possibly with light surfacemarks or fingerprints but there is no appreciable lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. EXCELLENT MINUS EX- There may be fairly visible surface markings under brightlight but the sound quality if the record is not adversely affected. The Cover and inserts may have noticeable light creasing or "foxing"due to dampness but they are all present and intact. VERYGOOD VG The record has obviously been played a lot, but displays nomajor deterioration in sound quality despite surface marks and some lightscratches. Also Use this grading where the record has suffered perhaps one morevisible scratch, but is otherwise in EX or better condition. The cover may be creased a little and/or frayed at the opening. You shoulditemize any more serious damage such as tears. Buying or sellinganything in less than VG condition is not recommended, if you sell records inworse condition, expect some to get returned, even if your descriptions werehonest. GOOD G Therecord has been played so much that the sound quality has been affectednoticeably, perhaps with some distortion and clicks due to scratches. The mainplace to use this classification is for picture discs, where the sounddeteriorates more quickly with use. The cover and inserts may be folded, have minor tears and/or splits at theedges, they have not been looked after. FAIR F Therecord is still just playable, but has not looked after there is a lot surfacenoise, it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced, possibly withchunks missing. Cover Grading (any significant blemishnot mentioned in the descriptions below will be included above) M (Mint) A cover that looks like it hasnot been handled. Sharp corners and no visible blemishes. NM (Near Mint) A cover with only minorshelf wear. A record that has clearly been stored properly VG+ (Very Good Plus) A cover that doeshave minor blemishes- wear to corners, light ring wear, etc. An average covercondition. VG (Very Good) A cover that showsdistinct wear from handling. There may be ring wear, minor discoloring, edge,and spine wear and less than 1.5 inch seam split(s). VG- (Very Good Minus) A cover that hassome damage, but is still intact. Ring wear may be heavy; there may be seamsplits and stains. G (Good) A cover that holds the record.Structural damage may be apparent. The picture should show obvious blemishes. SS (Still Sealed) Note on 'Cutouts': Cutouts are recordsthat may have been returned to the warehouse by the retailer, or marked at areduced price. They are usually marked with a corner clip in the jacket,a hole punch, or a saw cut in the jacket. These are to mark the items asnon-returnable. The vinyl is undamaged and is the same quality as aretail record (because it usually was a retail record). If you're lookingfor a pristine jacket, then a cutout is not for you.
