'Item Description'
Overall:  During the late 1950's and early 60's RCA decided to use a maroon label on some of their normal rock Elvis releases, that was weird because the Maroon label was strictly restricted to their classical labels. Reasons have been speculated as to why this occurred, they ran out of black labels, etc. but no matter what the reason, they are incredibly rare, very small pressings each and everytime.  This is one of those Maroon releases.  The EP format was a way fans could get those early Elvis hits without having to spend the larger dollars on a LP.  This format was very popular in the 1950's thru the mid 1960's when the format would be deleted forever.
Cover: A nice cover, the front has a great look overall, about the only call out is some aging to the white border around the front cover.  Also there is a light crease in the lower left corner and it again just restricted to the front cover, no crease on back.  The back of the cover is in nice shape, only suffering from aging to the white background.
Edges and Spine: Both edges and spine are in great shape, can see no wear at all.  
Vinyl Record: This rare maroon label record is in good condition, the vinyl has most of its gloss and sheen still present, when viewed under a light you can pick out a few superficial paper scuffs in places on both sides.  The labels have a very nice look to them, just a light bit of wear from age as you can see in the pictures.  
Other: Very tough to find EP from the very genesis of Rock and Roll.
