Description
Rare original UK "Living Stereo" pressing of the iconic Elvis Presley soundtrack album "Blue Hawaii" (1961). Catalogue number S.f. 5115 with original first press matrices. Pressed on heavy vinyl with Silver and Black RCA labels (not later RCA Victor labels) so first version. Also think pink stereo inner and front laminated cover with flaps- all denotes first press.
Mono versions common as stereo albums were new at the time and equipment very costly. Mostly reserved for classical stereo enthusiasts and few pop/rock n roll albums were issued this way and often had to be ordered specially.
Cover is fully laminated and close to EX with some minor discolouration to edges as shown. Inner is original pink stereo sleeve and EX. Vinyl is EX except for some light handling and play wear but otherwise just cosmetic damage and does not affect play.
