Elvis’ Christmas Album 1957 – Minty – RARE Matrix Miss-strike?
Here’s a really nice copy of the RARE Elvis’ Christmas Album LOC-1035, 1957.
I’ve been collecting records since I was 12, and I have to say that this LP is one of the best examples of this issue that I’ve ever seen.

- The covers are glossy, with minimal shelf wear
- The picture booklet is intact and clean, with no wrinkling and handling marks, no writing, no tears
- The booklet staples are not rusty
- The record is glossy and very clean
- The labels are nice, with minimal spindle marks
- The spine is intact and presentable, not torn out or taped, like some
I have carefully cleaned this record and it is quite minty.
I have also play-tested this record, on good equipment, and it plays and sounds very well. The lead-in groove is fairly quiet. Naturally, it being a record and a used one at that, it has the odd noise in it, but nothing intrusive.
About the only fault I can see in this record is that it has a name on the front cover, and a small bruise on the RF lower corner of the cover.
Interestingly, Side 2 has the normal H2 matrix stamping, but the matrix stamping on Side 1 has been overstamped [to correct an error?]. I’ve never seen this on these albums before, and it may be a very rare example.
The record will be shipped in an LP mailer, with cardboard stiffeners, (with the record out of the album cover, in its original paper sleeve, which is protected by extra paper from the LP cutting through) and all of this wrapped in plastic, for extra protection.From a pet-and-smoke-free home. e.&o.e.
