Elvis Costello Armed Forces Super Deluxe Edition 9x Vinyl LP Box Set. Condition is “ Near Mint” Box set is no longer sealed, but remains unplayed. It contains 3 LP’s at 12”, 3 LP’s at 10”, and 3 singles on 7” 45’s. There is a photo of a complete list including track listings in the item photos. There is 7 custom comic books and pulp novels containing over 200 pages of Elvis Costello liner notes, copies of handwritten lyrics along with rare photos and memorabilia. Also included is a vintage promo poster and 4 postcards. The Armed Forces album is fantastic, with the addition of several live albums, and the LP of alternate versions and demos - Sketches For Emotional Fascism, cover the best of the early music of Elvis Costello and the Attractions. If you are a fan of Elvis Costello you will not be disappointed. Packed with live material, and different versions of the Armed Forces tracks as well as many tracks from the first two albums of Elvis Costello, My Aim is True, and This Year’s Model, and there are a few tracks from Get Happy!, which is the album that followed Armed Forces. This collection is amazing and I’ve never seen anything like it, being curated by Elvis Costello himself. I wish more box sets would be released with such unique items, you can tell a lot went into making this collection the best it possibly could be.
