ELVIS FIRST DOUBLE Extended Play, only this is the rare Test Pressing or Record Prevue for RCA promotion for dealers or radio stations.
Two songs on each side of 2 records.
Side 1 = Blue Suede Shoes/I'm Counting On You
Side 2 = Tuttie Fruitti/Trying to Get to You\
Side 3 = I Got a Woman/One-Sided Love Affair
Side 4 = I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Cry/I'll Never Let You Go

This is an unusual pressing. It seems that a few Elvis collectors think this EP was pressed in Florida, California, New York, Indiana, etc., etc. And also say that it is from 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1983 or 1984, etc., etc. Regardless, this is rare. I really don't care when it was pressed or who pressed it. My own personal view is that it was pressed for an RCA dealer preview during the early 70s. RCA had many promotional items for top RCA dealers. Gifts of all kinds. RCA promoted the heck out of Elvis due to the fact that he was the biggest recording artist ever and they made a ton of money off of whatever Elvis did. No record label now does the kind of promotions that they once did back in the 50s, 60s, or 70s. I have many promotional RCA items from each era. RCA flooded the market with Elvis promotional items and I'm thankful that they did.
