"Burning Love Records"
Item: "Elvis Gold Records, Volume 4 Bonus Photo"
Catalog #: Came with LPM-3921
Condition Check: N/Mint
Date of Issue: 1968
Today's Auctions: Often I get asked if I can put up RCA Elvis bonus photos alone at auction as many collectors have the records but want to add the bonus photos to their collection to make it complete. I seldom offer the bonus photos alone as i like to keep records and photos together, however, today I am bringing you the rare opportunity to own purchase just the Bonus Photos alone. Nearly all are mint and all are original U.S. release photos. Most all are here today starting with the great "King Creole" photo from 1958 , his first album bonus photo and then continuing through the years. The highlight of the day is the incredibly rare "Elvis Gold 4" bonus photo, very few are known to exist, there have been obvious bootlegs on ebay, but selcdome the real thing. Gold 4 bonus photo is by far the rarest bonus photo ever of Elvis. It is hear mint, other great originals as well, check them all out and at the end there are some other RCA/Elvis paper items that are great as well. Fine day for the Elvis collector!
Closer Look At the Item: This is the KING of all Elvis bonus photo's, this is the photo that was associated with "Elvis Gold Records, Volume 4" in 1968. This photo did not get distributed hardly at all that is now evident 43 years later as it nearly never becomes available, in fact this one came directly from a close associate of Colonel Parker many years ago. Beware though, this Photo has been bootlegged and has recently been offered on ebay by a once reputable Elvis seller, I bought one to see and it is a very lousy boot of the original. The colors are not nearly as vivid on the photo and it is not done on the same paper stock as the other 50's bonus photos. If you have purchased this photo on ebay check it, IT SHOULD BE EXACTLY THE SAME PAPER STOCK AT OTHER BONUS PHOTOS, I.E. SPEEDWAY, ETC. and the colors should be as vivid as the one pictured in this photo. It is a real shame when people get greedy and decieve collectors, it puts a bad taste in those that collect and it hurts the market. End of story is I returned the obvious bootleg and it is still be sold periodically by this seller. This one is guaranteed to be the original and it is in perfect shape, I apologize for placing a higher minimum bid for this one, but I had to pay dearly for it and want to recover my original investment. Best of luck, this is the hardest of all Elvis bonus photos!

Rating Guide:
Mint (M): Perfect in every way, looks to have never been played, should have that look just as it did when you pulled the record from the new cover at the time of original purchase.
Mint Minus (M-): A nearly perfect record and cover. This item should show no readily visible signs of wear, covers and sleeves should have no more than nearly invisible rings or other signs of slight wear and vinyl should still be completely glossy and shiney, just the very lightest hint of wear if it is tilted to very bright light.
Very Good Plus (VG+): This record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled carefully by the previous owner. Record surfaces will show some light signs of paper scuffing or light scratches, that don't affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect sound are OK. This disc should still contain much of its original luster and sheen. The covers and picture sleeves should also be in very nice shape, they may have light ring wear or other signs of wear, may have a small cut out hole, indention or stamping present. Also there can be non obvious writing on the paper goods.
Very Good (VG): Many of the defects found in the VG+ record and cover will be present but more pronounced in the VG item. Surface noise will be evident, although the record should play through without skipping or repeating. Groove wear will now be noticable, scuffing and light scratching will be appearent, a scratch now can be felt with a fingernail. Labels will be marred with tape or tape residue, stickers or descret writing. The same will be true for the LP cover or picture sleeve.
Good (G): Good does not mean bad! A record in good condition should be placed on a turntable and it should play through, all though the surface noise will be evident. A cover or picture sleeve will have seam splitting, especially on the bottom seam or spine. Also there will be noticable ring wear caused by the presence of the record. The defects will start to overwhere this item.
Fair (F) or Poor (P): This record will be cracked, badly warped, and will not play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeeve or LP cover will show lots and lots of wear, the seams will be split on all three sides barely able to hold the record. This item will appear near valueless, unless of course it is a rarity that may not be seen again.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
