Today's Auctions:  Today is a variety of LP's highlighted by the blockbuster "Moody Blue" in gold vinyl and in mint condition.  But it doesn't stop there, also have the "For LP Fans Only" with the same cover front and back as well as some other very rare LP's, check this selection out, Pickwick Pack Still Sealed, the Boxcar LP that was only sold at Elvis concerts for a short period in 1974, the list goes on and on.  Great rare collectable albums!  $9.99 starts it and combined shipping on all multiple wins!

Closer Look At the Item:  An interesting album, in 1974 the Colonel always trying to find a way to make a buck decided to press a LP that he and Elvis would recieve all the proceeds, no split with RCA.  He did this on his Boxcar label and sold this LP at Concert Venue's in 1974, his reasoning was RCA owned the rights to Elvis singing voice, but not his speading voice.  The Colonel created this LP so it was Elvis talking between songs from concerts.  Needless to say, RCA was not amused and threatened a lawsuit against the Col. and Elvis so the record was withdrawn and in a ironic twist RCA then printed and pressed the LP for release on the RCA label.  That has made this BOXCAR LP a real collector favorite.  This one had a book value of $300 several years ago in mint condition, this one is not far off.  The cover has some very light wear in places, edges and spine are in great shape, the record has all the gloss and sheen of new, just some light paper scuffs in a few isolated places, only visible titlted to a bright light.  Mint labels. Great item, best of luck!

Note on Packaging:  All items are in shipped in mylar resealable sleeves, the  finest in the industry today.  Also the records are not packaged inside the original sleeves, instead packaged separately in a generic sleeve so no damage to the sleeve occurs in transit.

Rating Guide:

Mint (M):  Perfect in every way, looks to have never been played, should have that look just as it did when you pulled the record from the new cover at the time of original purchase.

Mint Minus (M-):  A nearly perfect record and cover.  This item should show no readily visible signs of wear,  covers and sleeves should have no more than nearly invisible rings or other signs of slight wear and vinyl should still be completely glossy and shiney, just the very lightest hint of wear if it is tilted to very bright light.

Very Good Plus (VG+):  This record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled carefully by the previous owner.  Record surfaces will show some light signs of paper scuffing or light scratches, that don't affect the listening experience.  Slight warps that do not affect sound are OK.  This disc should still contain much of its original luster and sheen.  The covers and picture sleeves should also be in very nice shape, they may have light ring wear or other signs of wear, may have a small cut out hole, indention or stamping present.  Also there can be non obvious writing on the paper goods.

Very Good (VG):  Many of the defects found in the VG+ record and cover will be present but more pronounced in the VG item.  Surface noise will be evident, although the record should play through without skipping or repeating.  Groove wear will now be noticable, scuffing and light scratching will be appearent, a scratch now can be felt with a fingernail.  Labels will be marred with tape or tape residue, stickers or descret writing.  The same will be true for the LP cover or picture sleeve.

Good (G):  Good does not mean bad!  A record in good condition should be placed on a turntable and it should play through, all though the surface noise will be evident.  A cover or picture sleeve will have seam splitting, especially on the bottom seam or spine.  Also there will be noticable ring wear caused by the presence of the record.  The defects will start to overwhere this item.

Fair (F) or Poor (P):  This record will be cracked, badly warped, and will not play through without skipping or repeating.  The picture sleeeve or LP cover will show lots and lots of wear, the seams will be split on all three sides barely able to hold the record.  This item will appear near valueless, unless of course it is a rarity that may not be seen again.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
